Blessed EQUINOX to ALL
Ahhhhhh ... Blessed Equinox BEauties ! BALANCE ... equal light and dark this day, action and stillness, heaven and earth.
.... Our time to harvest the summers gifts and contemplate the stillness in the busy action of preparing for Winter . How will summers bounty inform and serve our walk into winters cave .

Like with all the quarters and cross quarters ...I like to pause to listen to Earth , Sun and Moon's lead and the metaphors they are linking up for our human unfolding . We pray and contemplate the wisdom of the changing seasons , to reflect on what has come to completion and what is calling us forward . The yearly markers are potent times for intention setting and co- creating with the universe.
This weekend many of us will gather to ritualize these contemplations . Creating prayer fires, meditations , dances and feasting to share in this pause and come present for receiving the revelation of this Equinox (Mabon) moment .

If you are unable to join us this weekend in person please read on to synch up in intention and ritual . We are all woven into the web together . We are all affecting each other even from a distance . You are with us and we are with you , if we intent it to be so.

Friday morning Prayer Fire - 7am - 10 - we will sych up with the mountain tops of the world to pray our intentions for our communities and planet . Join us - at some point light a candle to invoke the Equinox Spirit to listen to your prayers and link they up with our - Imagine in your sacred imagination each prayer sinking into the flames and rising with the smoke off the mountain top of your mind choosing .
What is prayer : Offering a clear and positive statement of what you intend for this equinox moment - for example - I see and feel the waters on the planet coming into balance ... restoring life and purifying the seas ... give nourishment and strength to all marine life. See it in you mind feel it , speak it out loud .
If you are at Work? take a pause wherever you are - take a deep breath and whisper your prayer into the air somewhere you can relax and take a moment for this visualization . Bathrooms are always a great place to escape to for a prayer or asana moment in the midst of mainstream life! We work with what we got - that is the greatest teaching my first Shamanic teacher ever gave me !

Ritual for FriDay - SunDay : gather candle , bread or baked good , pen /paper, rugged non flammable bowl or plate.
Create your sacred circle , sit inside , find the center and place your candle and your bread , pen and paper and any sacred objects that are informing/ supporting your life at this time

For 10-15 minutes energetically become one with the Earth.

Do this with your breath .
Inhale the light around you into you from all edges of your skin - exhale it down into the EArth like roots of light .

Inhale the Earth's energy into you and exhale it out all surfaces of your skin including the top of your head -

Repeat -
Once this flow is established intend for it to continue as you do this next step .

Join the EArth in her vibrational tone .
OM - broken down as aaaa - uuuu - mmmmmm- Synch up with us at starhous at 2pm on Sunday !

when this feels complete - thank the earth and receive her nourishment of grain - as your baked good /bread - charged with the vibration of your meditation - Bask in a disposition of Gratitude as you nourish yourself and relax into this new sense of balance . Write on your paper 5 gifts of your summer and 5 intentions for your walk through fall to winder place them on either side of the candle and feel into how your 5 summer gifts balance and support the 5 fall intentions . When you feel complete give your words to the fire to be ignited and transformed into memory and action( place on plate or bowl to burn ) , blow out your candle and walk your circle once giving thanks again to the earth and spirit of equinox . Conclude bay clearing your sacred circle .


This will help to balance your energy flows as well as "send" energy/"love"/"honoring" to the Earth Being.

You can also drum, dance, or whatever you wish to do at the same time if you wish, but most importantly intend to merge energetically with the Earth Being.
May we all remember Earth is our home , our mother , our teacher She is preparing us for what is to come . May we take time to heal and restore all that needs balancing in our bodies and lives , May we harvest , receive and transform what is ours to tend to and serve at this time . Walking this path with you and sending love Ixeeya and Mitra.




Nourishing.... body and mind .... New Moon and Fall Season ...





Our New Moon Women's Circle GAthers in the EArth Shrine at 6pm Monday
for our Earthing Practice - sending our roots down , chanting with the earth, sharing nourishing tea , working with the Lemniscate (figure eight ) to connect with each other and the earth for balancing and nourishment through . It is time to surrender . Join us where ever you are , take your pause at this dark moon time with some sisters or your self .

Perform the nataraja-asana gracefully as if dancing, yet firmly with focused attention.
Root your standing foot into the EARTH . Press you back leg into your hand and let it lift you into your dance ..
BREATH ..... Enjoy .... Balance

ASANA of the Month ! I am calling this our Equinox Asana - for the obvious reasons ... it is a balance pose. But more than that it fills you with the fullness and grace of summer as you dance forward into the fall! It is nourishing for so many of the Early Fall Bodily cruxes , overwhelm , late cycles, digestions discomfort.
This posture helps to strengthen your sense of balance and concentration. The arch formed by the back and stretched leg gently aligns the vertebrae of the spine restoring suppleness and easing strain caused by poor posture or long periods of sitting. This gentle arch in your back massages your kidneys and adrenals and open your belly to bring circulation in to your digestion . It tones the muscles of the hips and legs as well as stimulates the chest muscles.


Yummy Nourishing Fall TEA:
Burdock Root
Hawthorn Berry
Dandelion Root
Cinanimon
Licorice

ROOT SALAD for Balance and Deep Nourishment
with a metal hand shredder or food processor shred the following and mix with
Olive oil , Sea Salt , Tumeric , Pinch of Cyan ,Cumin , CAcau nibs and or raisins, slash of yogurt .
Golden beets
Red beats ( do these last)
Carrots
Fennel
Celery
Ginger Root ( can be strong add bit by bit to see how much tastes good to you ! )
Horseradish root ( can be strong add bit by bit to see how much tastes good to you ! )
